With each year new goals are set and after a much talked about project Billy Patron & Speedy The Artist are collaborating to release “Speed & Patron”. The project was something the two were planning for quite some time but delayed due to unforeseen circumstances of trying to be productive in their own career paths. Jack The Ripper introduced himself the Seattle scene via his production which eventually evolved into his debut album “Don’t Look Back”. The project featured all kinds of local talent in tune with Jacks eccentric mesh of production which calls from various influences. One of the talented artists to appear on the project was Cash Clepto on the track with Vehement entitled “So Gone”. Long overdue may be an understatement in Jay Barz case but better late than never as he gets ready to release his latest an EP titled “420 Experienced: The Highs & The Lows”. The projects first single “Match” features Humboldt County’s Potluck and local horrorcore favorites Partners In Crhyme as they give appreciation to 420’s mainstay. Though many have no heard much from Jay Barz since the release of his “Hunger Pains 2” he has been one of the Northwest busiest as far as shows consistently performing throughout the Northwest. A movement always starts small but when it gains enough steam the outcome is a full on explosion. Stunna Kid along with 50 Cow and Miss DT (Double Take) have conceived their own movement called “Yerped” which they emphasize is their own version of how you feeling at any given moment. Following in the lines of swag, crunk, hyphy, and jerking the trio plan on making the nation get “Yerped Up” to the infectious sound of their debut single. Though the trio as a whole may be from various areas at certain times of their lives they are all Tacoma residents trying to put the Northwest on the map. Coming into their own identities as of late the trio are preparing for their debut mixtape as well as solo projects all slated for spring/summer release.
