Richard P Escalate Productions – The Resume Compilation

Escalate Productions was created by the beatmaker/producer Richard P. This Resume offers some of the best talent coming out of the Northwest. This is a compilation of some of the best songs Richard P has produced. All the songs on the CD were produced, recorded and mixed in Richard P’s personal home studio.
This project was started to first promote his production but also offers a lot of promotion for the rappers he has worked with. Richard P tried to round out this project by offering a little something for everybody. You got the hard songs which came out naturally especially when working with the homeboys on the block but the project also offers some songs for the ladies in the songs “Got Your Body Fiendin” and “Hold You Down”. It also offers something for the older crowd in the sampling of the Duran Duran song “Wild Boys”. Mastered by DJ RPM who has also been mastering the Coast to coast Mixtape Series.

With labels like 2 Real Records and & Jus Family records having major success and even signing deals in the past it looked promising for the City Of Roses. Another label burst onto the Portland scene in the late 90’s was Greenleaf entertainment. The label’s two primary artists were Mackin Rob & Brotha Luv. The two were a big part of the labels first big release “Rose City Playaz Club” appearing on 6 of the 14 tracks. The two later linked up to drop a duo album in 2000 entitled “Oregonized”. The album features appearances from Big Tay, Cool Nutz, G-Ism, Bosko, Redrum, B Sharpe, Maniac Lok, GOTM, Kenny Mack, Tremaine, and many more.

Kelly.” By the age of eight Roulette was in love with music and it is all he thought about. “I would run around the house singing all day, driving everybody crazy. I remember being on top of the kitchen table, singing and imitating Michael Jackson moves. Everything from the famous spin to crotch grab.”
