Was not even a year ago J1M C2LE was under the wings of Syko dropping his debut solo album “Progress In The Making”. Adept to learning the game his hunger for more brings forth the release of his second project a Coast 2 Coast hosted mixtape titled “12th Ave”. Some would call it being dated, some would call it not moving along with the times, but instead of following the trends set forth by other artists in his age bracket Jim obligates himself to making pure west coast music with influential’s from past and present. Everything has stepped up in just a years time from the production, recording, and Jim’s confidence when rapping. Taking pieces of the west coast sound you got some mobb, some club, some hyphy, some pimpin, all of which are west coast staples of the sound. It’s a few borrowed recent instrumentals towards the beginning of the project but the meat of the release is mostly original with Jim getting features from J Diggs, Dubee, Duna, Mistah FAB, T Soprano, Kay Boogie, Yung Savv, Young Odie, O-Kno, and many more.
