OL’ Small – Party Talk EP

It used to be common to hear select cities mentioned when it came to the northwest’s music scene but as of late Everett, Washington has put itself in the mix. With a region that has no real distinction in sound it leaves a wide array of openings for new artists to introduce their music. An industry that has changed in the favor of corporations versus the artists OL’ Small grew tired of the constant tirade of radio music and pursued his own vision. His journey into music has no great back story it was simple and credit goes to alcohol as it was the main contributors to him flowing out loud while being highly intoxicated. All in all good practice but now taking the art more seriously OL’ Small has been refining his sound to what he describes as “Retro 80’s beats synth’d up, rocked out, grime claps, welcome to the future music”. His first offering is the five track EP “Party Talk” which features production from Wade Bovard and P Smoov (Mad Rad/Fresh Espresso).  Megaphone in hand and bottle in the other the album’s artwork gives you an idea of what to expect but it is always better to be a part of the party.
