Soul The Interrogator & DJ Peg – Graffiti Post Mixtape Volume 1

soulo

Soul the Interrogator, a resident of Seattle Washington, Began Rapping at age 12 on a dare from friends. Much to his and their surprise, he discovered he was pretty good at it. Over the years, he continued to polish his craft, even though it was a hobby at the time. At 17 years old, while attending Garfield High School (The school where music greats, Quincy Jones, and Jimi Hendrix, attended), Hip Hop became more than just a hobby when he and a friend formed “Street Wize”. A socially, & politically conscious hip hop group which spoke of their struggles with living in extreme poverty in the Intercity, and trying to escape the rigors of crime, gang life, drugs, & police brutality. The group eventually disbanded & Soul went on to release his first solo effort “Project Nomad EP” under the name Soul Dog, which was produced by him and his late mentor, Sam Stephens.

Years later, as Soul was struggling with deep depression & alcoholism, he was incarcerated for assault. It was there in King County Correctional Facility- facing prison time- that Soul hit rock bottom. Tired of living the destructive lifestyle that he was in, he prayed to God in whom he follows to this day. With a new lease on life on life he released “Beyond all Meanz” independently in 2004 which gained the attention of Lojique/ Oldominion member Nickels, who signed Soul to his new label Soundmind (Now Mysterium Media Group) & too End of Earth Records in 2007. In August of 2008 Soul released “Prawdukt” which details his story from childhood to the present day, chronicling his struggles on the way. He is currently working on several projects. His most recent is “Graffiti Post Mix Tape Volume 1″ with DJ Peg, and his upcoming album “Impervious” set to be released in 2011.

  2. it seems that you are overlooked good sir.
where some would hear courage, decency, and respect…..others simply ignore the beats/the features/the delivery.

this is a HUGE problem in “tha northwest”, the region and its fans..NOT THIS DOPE WEBSITE.

let us rally around one of our own and support hip hop in ALL its forms.
and respect the drive and passion of THE ARTIST.
