Jay Highway – The Truth About Jones

Jay Highway is a young talent coming out of Tacoma Washington with his debut album “The Truth About Jones”. Going by the moniker of Picasso he alike the great artist paints a vivid picture about the many personal tragedies he has endured. “I have already been through so much losing my cousin at age eleven, at age nineteen I was shot in the head due to being out in the streets. Then in 2006 I lost the person I was closest too when my mother passed away due to Cancer” explains Jay. As an artist Jay Highway refuses to let anything stop his ambition to rise to the top. Jay states “Im from the Northwest which is already not very respected in the hip hop community but Im coming from Tacoma which has the small city effect being overshadowed by Seattle.” With his unique voice and laid back demeanor and a style all his own this lyrical genius is the greatest undiscovered talent out there!
