Seven Hundred twenty-three syllables in 51.27 seconds. That’s what it took for Seattle’s Ricky Brown Aka No Clue to Break the Guinness Book Of World Records fastest rapper title on January 15th 2005. To become the fastest rapper on the planet, NoClue rapped at a tounge numbing clip of 14.1 syllables per second. That surpassed the 12.5 syllables a second pace set in 1998 by Chicago artist Rebel XD.
Born in Seattle, No Clue grew up in the Rainer Vista part of Seattle, know as the central district. Gaining studio experience by following his grandfather, (A member of the singing Galatians), No Clue would begin writing his first lyrics at the young age of 9. He would record in their studio every other Sunday. The name No Clue derives from the fact that the world had No Clue what kind of impact he was about to bring. Not only is No Clue talented, but his ambition for stardom really became relevant in 2004 when he was 19. That is when he set out on his quest to become the worlds fastest rap artist. After looking through the Guinness book of world Records to find thatit had a (Fastest Rap Artist) category, No Clue realized that it was just what he needed to help sky rocket his dream of stardom. On January 15, 2005 at Seattle’s B&G studios, Ricky Brown laid down the winning verse that would make him the Guinness Book Of world Records fastest rap artist. The accomplishment is exactly what he needed to gain recognition.
Soon after breaking the world record, he received a lot of publicity with such avenues as Newspaper “Seattle Times”, Q13 Fox News, VR Magazine, been asked to sign with multiple independent record lables, his youtube page was one of the top 50 most viewed in the world in one day, appeared as special guests at local events in Seattle, and other great publicity. Release of his pre album “Ntroduction” onto iTunes and other digital sites has found a great crowd following. Due to the release of his high budget music video for song “New West” his web site is gaining more than 200,000 hits a month. No Clue is even getting representatives from the Ellen DeGeneres show courting him, and getting asked to perform at various music festivals. No Clue is putting the finishing touches on his full length debut album “The Beginning” which will be in stores sometime in 2009.
